Sparkle&Lace Winter Formal Edition

This Saturday was Winter Formal and lets just say it was crazy. The theme was arctic nights but no one really dresses by the theme. I went in a big group and everyone looked so amazing. For formal I wore a black long-sleeved sparkly dress with a diamond choker and black block heels. I wanted to go for a simple look but also be bold at the same time. That’s why I went for the classic color black but also made it bold with the sparkle elements.

The beautiful Ineka Damen channeled her inner space babe with silver boots, a light greenish blue dress with silver star designs, and silver hoop earrings. I love this outfit because it is so original and every element of the outfit fits perfectly together. No one had a look like Ineka that night so she really stood out with her originality.

My friend Anna Hepp wore probably one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen. She wore a nude fit and flare dress with white flower lace designs. She paired this with heeled tan boots. A little something about Anna is that she is basically a professional makeup artist. I mean she can basically pull off any look and she knows more about makeup than anyone I know. She is amazing and this look really channeled her beautiful personality well.

Charley Meister(far left pictured above) and Chloe Babcock(far right pictured above) both rocked black lace rompers. I liked this look because both rompers were both very sophisticated and elegant which made them look stunning.

While Taylor Robertson(far right) wore a flowy white dress with tan block heels. Both looks were simple but pulled off gorgeously because sometimes the simplest looks are the most breathtaking.

Overall winter formal was best described as crazy. It was an outstanding night for some who scored big and a horrible night for others. I guess that’s just how these sort of things go. Overall I am very happy I ended up going. It was a great night full of beautiful friends and fun times (for most).

Make sure to check back in next week because I will be interviewing a super awesome person who I love!

Love, JP
